Our mission statement

The Save the Matt Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization providing physical, educational, vocational/technical, psychological, economic and medical assistance and other necessary aid to Matt, and his family.

What we do

During our history, The Save the Matt Foundation has created and developed one of the world's smallest private supply organizations dedicated to feeding and funding Matt. We believe if we can save just one child, Matt, then our job is done.

A brief history

The Save the Matt Foundation was founded by Brian Bugh, who serves as President.  During a trip to Matt's house in 1999, Brian witnessed misery and needless hunger.  Such overwhelming needs led Brian and his girlfriend, Tiffany, to create The Save the Matt Foundation.

Brief Q&A

Q:What makes The Save the Matt Foundation different?
A: We believe we do more to help Matt than any other private charity organization.  In 1999 alone, we raised more than one thousand dollars for the basic needs of Matt and his family.

Q:Where does all the money come from?
A: The majority of the money collected is donated by people, just like you. It's thanks to the love and compassion of every day people who make donations to The Save the Matt Foundation that Matt can enjoy life without fear of hunger or poverty.

Q:How do you measure the difference The Save the Matt Foundation is making?
A: There is only one way to measure.  Matt is growing up healthy and strong today, helped by the work our donors and corporate partners.  Matt would not even be alive were it not for the help our donors and partners provided - but he is, and he has a brighter future to look forward to because of this generosity.

Q:This is a joke isn't it?
A: Well... yes, this is just a parody. However, donations are still welcome.
