Way back in the day. Long long ago, there was a group, of 5 men. A group,
no, a clan, a Quake clan, they called themselves the Metal Milita.
And I, under the name Iron Death, was their leader.
Our logo, was a simple mix of the Quake Q, and the Yen symbol. This is the final
version of it, with a nice shadow, type of 3d look to it. |
The Militia was my first web page, and back then I loved image maps.
This map, was a simple hack/edit job, of the cover of Ride the Lightning, an
album by Metallica. |
Our later image maps were slightly more advanced, this one being
a 3D render that I did of the Master of Puppets cover.
There is only one fuck up in it, the odd thing in the middle is suppost to be
the dog tags, hanging from the center stone.
Anesthesia(James) told me I had left it out, and in a fit of rage from working
on it all day, I hastily threw it in. |
This is yet another map, of the Ride the Lighting cover. However,
the first map was a direct copy. This I had drawn from scratch.
I was very proud of it, how good it looked, and was going to turn it into an
image map for the clan page.
Sadly, we fell apart, and we all gave up hope on saving the clan, shortly after
I drew it. |
I had drawn several logos for the clan.
This was my all time favorite tho.
Even tho we didn't get to use it on anything, it looks cool. |
This is our clan skin, that I deftly cut pasted together.
I was, and still am, the Master of Cut and Paste. |
The Orc skin, has nothing to do with our clan.
But it's another bad ass skin I drew.
Another cut paste job, but more actual work, then I had done on any other skin. |
Back in the day, I was good at making skin scenes.
I'd take a shot of a level. Then some shots of models in different positions.
Finally placing the models, in the level shot.
Like I said, Master of Cut and Paste. |
